My name is Steve Peterson

Hi, I’m Steve Peterson, the founder of AIEM and a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) with a passion for integrating cutting-edge technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, into the field of emergency management. With years of hands-on experience in response and recovery, I’ve seen the complexities agencies face in adapting to rapidly evolving scenarios and the transformative potential of AI-driven solutions.

What inspires me is the opportunity to connect advanced AI tools with the unique needs of emergency management, helping organizations enhance readiness, response, and resilience. Outside of work, I enjoy crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay, which keeps me grounded and connected to the human side of what we do.
